Introduction

1. Promoting STREAM Education to Enhance Students' Comprehensive Abilities

• In alignment with our school-based curriculum, we are committed to promoting STREAM education (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Through engaging and real-life project-based activities, we ignite students' passion for science and technology and allow them to experience the joy of hands-on creation.

• By integrating knowledge from various subjects—such as scientific principles, artistic aesthetics, and mathematical logic—our curriculum breaks down traditional disciplinary boundaries. This approach enables students to apply what they have learned in a holistic way, thereby improving their skills in logical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving. This also helps cultivate the attitudes and skills necessary for lifelong learning.

2. Cultivating a Culture of Inquiry-Based Learning and Fostering Key Competencies

• We collaborate with various subject departments to create a campus culture that encourages inquiry and practical learning.

• Our teaching activities focus on nurturing students' problem-solving skills, creativity, collaborative spirit, and critical thinking—all of which are essential competencies for tackling future challenges.

• We integrate reading and writing into our STREAM projects. Students are guided to acquire new knowledge through reading and to document their learning processes and reflections through writing, which deepens the effectiveness of their learning.

3. Making Good Use of Resources to Optimize the Learning Environment

• Through various information technology learning activities, we cultivate students' proper use of IT facilities and their respect for intellectual property rights, thereby establishing a high-quality information literacy learning environment.

• We utilize our newly renovated STREAM Innovative Lab to provide a variety of STREAM courses, enhancing students' learning effectiveness.

    為了裝備學生應對社會及全球因急速的經濟、科學及科技發展所帶來的轉變和挑戰,本校近年大力推動STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)不同的教育活動,讓學生通過 「動手做」 的探究活動經驗,研究周圍的事件和現象,本校更加入閱讀或宗教元素「R(Reading or Religious)及視藝元素「A(Arts) ,設計校本課程,以幫助學生提升學習科學、科技與數學的學習興趣。

Strategy
  • Arrange students to participate in various school, inter-school, and national STREAM competitions.
  • Organize students to take part in different scientific exploration activities, including training, exchanges, and related competitions.
  • Effectively utilize our STREAM learning and teaching facilities to promote STREAM education in a widespread manner.
