Message from the Principal – November 2025
Dear Parents and Students,
May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all!
As we are about to enter the second stage of this academic year, I would like to represent the school in expressing my heartfelt gratitude to every parent for your continuous support and trust in our school affairs. Over the past few months, the school has taken numerous actions and initiatives to enhance student learning and improve the campus environment. We have also consistently monitored the quality of school lunches and further strengthened our home-school cooperation mechanisms.
I. School Lunch Supply: Continuous Monitoring and Joint Supervision
Every detail of campus life, especially the safety and health of our children's meals, has always been a top priority of our school's work and remains one of the issues parents care about most. We firmly believe that only through the concerted efforts and close cooperation between home and school can we provide the safest and healthiest environment for our children to grow.
The school will continue to work closely with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and all dedicated parent partners to monitor lunch quality without laxity. The health and smiles of our children are the foundation of all campus work. I would like to take this opportunity to specially thank the Class Representatives; you have made the flow of information more interactive and efficient, serving as an indispensable bridge of communication between the school and families.
II. Strengthening Home-School Cooperation: Appreciation for Parent Class Representatives
In a child’s journey of growth, the collaboration between school and family is like two warm lanterns lighting the way forward together. We believe that home-school cooperation is the core driving force for the school’s continuous progress and a solid shield providing the warmest support for children on campus. To foster this precious partnership and ensure smooth communication—allowing love and care to flow unimpeded between school and home—we officially established the "Parent Class Representative System" this year. This is not merely a one-way transmission of information, but a two-way heart-to-heart connection aimed at increasing mutual understanding and deep collaboration.
On behalf of all staff members, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and highest respect to all Parent Class Representative families who have selflessly dedicated their time and energy. You play a vital and warm role as a "bridge." Your active participation and selfless contribution have greatly enhanced parents' trust, engagement, and sense of belonging. This fruit of mutual effort and achievement is the greatest blessing for our children.
III. Forward-Looking Vision: Professional Teacher Training to Meet New Educational Challenges In addition to the steady operation of school affairs and the deepening of home-school cooperation, we remain committed and hopeful regarding the school's long-term educational development. Our ultimate goal is to create a forward-looking learning environment for our children that meets the needs of the future society. To achieve this, we understand that the professional growth of our teaching team is paramount.
This year, together with the Vice Principal, Assistant Principal, and several core administrative heads, we have successfully applied for various fundings. These grants allow our teaching team to participate in a series of high-level leadership and professional courses. These valuable learning opportunities are offered by prestigious local and international institutions, such as Stanford University, The University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, and the Education Bureau. The curriculum covers key themes including future leadership, Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation and creativity, values education, and supporting learning diversity. We believe that only a teaching team that constantly learns and excels can bring the best education to our children.
Of particular note is an innovative education funding project. It not only sponsors myself and two other core administrative heads to participate in a 15-month "Innovative Leadership Course" but also funds a creative project for the school. This project aims to help children build an educational ecosystem that connects the individual with society, and the present with the future. It deeply integrates traditional service learning, understanding of social enterprises, and hands-on experiences with AI digital technology.
After learning about social enterprises, social issues, and community service, students will be encouraged to analyze what they have seen and heard through critical thinking. This project allows students’ creative ideas to be put into practice, giving them the opportunity to step beyond their own horizons, learn how to care for others, cultivate empathy, and ultimately use creativity and technology to give back to society, becoming leaders equipped with innovative capabilities. Furthermore, it allows our entire staff to reflect on how to embrace future changes and challenges through team-building activities.
I would like to reassure all parents that while some courses may require teachers to be away for training during school days, our primary principle is to ensure that student learning is not affected. Teachers attending training will plan their curriculum in advance, and senior teachers will be arranged to cover their classes, ensuring a seamless transition in teaching. I am also grateful for the mutual support within our teaching team. I will be traveling to Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Stanford University in late November, mid-December, and late April next year for training. We are committed to transforming what we learn into curriculum innovations, witnessing the growth of your children together, and nurturing them to become future citizens with international perspectives and a sense of social responsibility, ready to meet the new challenges of the AI era.
Dear parents, the progress of our school requires the collective effort of every stakeholder. We believe that through open communication and mutual trust between home and school, we can create a higher quality and healthier campus environment for our children. Thank you for your trust and support.
Wishing your families happiness, good health, and the constant presence of the Lord’s grace!
